Space for Everyone (Gregory Harris, 2016)

Director, Producer, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor

Space for Everyone is a manifesto for civic space. Produced for the 2016 American Institute of Architects "I Look Up" film competition, I borrowed a camera from the Leica store in Soho using their free "test-drive" program, filmed the project in one afternoon (the borrow period was only 24 hours), wrote and recorded the script that evening before editing the film and submitting it the next day. The entire production of this film from start to finish was in a 36-hour period. While Space for Everyone doesn't have the greatest production value, it is perhaps closest to what I would like to do in combining film with my background in architecture and design to inform people of the benefits of urbanism.
