The Virgin Activists (Charles Harris, 2016)

Associate Producer, Editor

The Virgin Activists tells the story of several doctors faced with the challenge of protest. As then presidential-candidate Donald Trump gained traction using what has been described as "hateful rhetoric," my team of filmmakers filmed a documentary centered on these professionally-linked peers who felt they had to do something. Seeing the potential effects of Trump's rhetoric on their Muslim peers, they choose a slogan for their group, "Muslim doctors save lives." Then these doctors take to the streets of Cleveland in protest of the Republican National Convention of 2016.

As an Associate Producer on this project, my role often included securing locations, ensuring a cohesive operation between subjects/talent and filmmakers, and making logistical decisions that serve both efficient and effective in the greater picture of the production.
